Clinical Pharmacy

 Dr Kane is a professor from the Albany College of Pharmacy.  His academic and research interests are in the field of endocrinology, particularly diabetes and osteoporosis related issues.  He has published extensively, and his Clinical Site for training students is here at The Endocrine Group. 

Dr Heh, pictured above, completed a post-graduate residency position here at The Endocrine Group.  Her responsibilities were mostly related to counseling of patients considering various options for management of osteoporosis.  Periodically, we will have other similarly highly-qualified, selected PharmD graduates with an interest in Endocrinology join us for immersion training in our practice. 

Drs Kane and the pharmacy resident (when we have one) also supervise students from the Albany College of Pharmacy who are performing their clinical rotations here at The Endocrine Group. 

Students in any field, by the nature of their position, are primarily responsible for learning.  However, under the guidance of Dr Kane and our Pharmacy Resident, the students will pose provocative questions and will keep all of us at the cutting edge of developments in our field.  It is a pleasure to work with them.
