Eileen Hogan, FNP CDE

Eileen has been with The Endocrine Group, LLP since 1994. She is a Certified Diabetes Educator, and was responsible for coordinating our efforts to achieve ADA certification as a recognized center for diabetes education, a distinction which we are proud of. Eileen is a certified pump trainer, and has been actively involved in multiple research projects here. Some of them have provided her a unique experience and insight into the role of new technologies (eg glucose sensors) used in the management of patients with diabetes. Prior to joining TEG she was a CDE at the Diabetes Treatment Center of Memorial Hospital, and before that the Coordinator for Patient Education at Samaritan Hospital. She is a member of the ADA and AADE, and Past President of the NE New York Diabetes Educators. Since joining TEG she returned to school (while continuing work at TEG)and gained the certification of Nurse Practioner. She works under the supervision of Dr Jill Abelseth.
