Appointments

Office visits are by appointment only. We will make every attempt to accommodate your request for a visit when you contact us. WALK-IN appointments ARE NOT AVAILABLE, but if you contact us and need to be seen urgently, we will find a way to be sure you get the care that you need. The age-old practice of booking more than one patient for a single time slot is NOT part of our routine. Our goal is to see you at the time of day for which the appointment was made.

Obviously, unforeseen issues do occur in a medical practice. That cannot be avoided (nor predicted). In these situations the schedule for the day may be pushed back — we apologize, in advance, should that occur on the day of your appointment. If it becomes obvious that the schedule has been delayed, we will make an attempt to let you know. We ask your cooperation in this endeavor as well — if you know that you are going to be late for your appointment, we request that you call the office to let us know. We may ask you, in that situation, to either reschedule your appointment, or come in at the end of the day, because when a patient arrives late for an appointment time, the entire schedule for the remainder of the day is pushed back and inconveniences all the patients to follow.

In response to a common perception we would like to emphasize the following: we acknowledge without difficulty that our time is not more valuable than your time; and your time is not more valuable than the other patients being seen.
